Swatches, on average, are cut 2” X 5”, but can range in size, depending on the style and pattern.
For liability and insurance reasons, pick-up from our location is not permitted; orders can only be shipped.
We recommend “dry clean only” for silk fabrics and “dry clean/hand wash” for other fabrics, such as cotton. However, we cannot guarantee against fading, and suggest always testing first.
Swatch orders are generally shipped via USPS First Class Mail (no tracking), but can be upgraded to a “UPS/FedEx Ground or Express” option, at an additional cost. Yardage orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx.
We try to ship the fabrics out on the same day of the order. However, some fabrics may take up to 48 hours to ship. Tracking number will be provided upon shipment for yardage orders. In case of a stock- We will contact the customer for any delays due to stock-outs and advise the lead time.
Fabrics ship from New York. Barring inclement weather, UPS/FedEx ground takes 1 to 2 business days for most locations in the Northeast, 2 to 3 business days for the Southeast, 3 to 4 business days for the Midwest, and 5 business days for the West.
Shipping can be expedited by selecting a more expensive, 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day, shipping, which will reach in the morning of the corresponding selection.
We do not allow shipment on customer’s account.
We ship all over the U.S., including Alaska and Puerto Rico, Canada, and the U.K. If you live outside these regions, and would like to place an order, please contact NYDF at email@example.com for further support.
We do not offer any exchanges and strongly encourage the purchase of swatches before placing an order to get an accurate feel for the texture and color.
